Description:

CoachArt seeks a Program Coordinator who is able to demonstrate a commitment to CoachArt’s mission by serving as one of three team members who support a region of Los Angeles and ensure this region’s families and volunteers are provided with opportunities to engage with the CoachArt community. The Program Coordinator position will be tasked with the opportunity to provide community support through facilitating the matches of CoachArt students with volunteers through in­home lessons, program partner scholarships, clubs and one­day group lessons. CoachArt’s Program Coordinators are the awesome glue that connects our work and acts as the “home base” for a region within Los Angeles County.

Primary Responsibilities:

This position will report to the Program Director. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Student and Family Support

? Support Student Intake Process
? Provide support to families within and around their home community
? Ensure adequate understanding of family needs as it relates to the mission of the program
? Provide ongoing communication with the family and as necessary through matching process
? Monitor and evaluate the success of CoachArt programming through the effective use of data and evaluation

Volunteer Support

? Manage regional matching for in­home lessons
? Support regional matching for CoachArt Clubs based on regional volunteer knowledge and interest awareness
? Manage volunteer communication within region

Partner Support

? Manage the regional partner relationships and identify new opportunities in line with program vision
? Manage regional matching for program partners
? Manage program partner communication within region

Team Support

? Assist in creation and management of a Digital Matching Tool to support volunteer ­ family matching process
? Support the annual vision, growth metrics and goals of the program
? Utilize Salesforce.com platform to assure transparent and useful information related to progress on key pipelines for partnerships, recruitment and job transitions

Specialty Support

? Engage in a “specialty” support area of the PC’s choice (onboarding, evaluation, curriculum, communication, etc.)
? Support One­Day Group Lessons and Community Events within region and in line with PRogram strategy (ie: quarterly, as needed, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:

? Associate’s degree required
? Knowledge of Salesforce, or other CRM database
? Proficiency in computer systems, preferably Mac, and the Microsoft Office Suite
? Proficiency in Google Apps / Google Drive
? Comfortable with multi­tasking
? Willing to travel and work flexible hours including weekends and/or evenings
? Must pass a criminal background check

Desired Experience:

? Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
? Education or work experience that can be articulated as relevant to core responsibilities
? Knowledge of Los Angeles and Orange County community and demographics
