“We dreamed about a day like tomorrow.”

Dear CoachArt Community,
From the moment we co-founded CoachArt in 2001, we dreamed about a day like tomorrow.
We’re both so proud, grateful, and humbled that during tomorrow night’s National Launch Party, CoachArt will begin serving kids impacted by chronic illness nationwide.
On the eve of this exciting event, we want to take a moment to reach out to the CoachArt community to thank all of the people who made this possible.
To the almost 20,000 volunteers over the last 20 years — you have taken time out of your busy schedules to provide arts or athletics lessons to a child fighting one of life’s toughest battles.
To the CoachArt staff — you have worked tirelessly to create a program and a model that brings joy to as many children as possible.
To our community of incredible supporters who have funded this work — so many of our sponsors and donors have given over and over again and answered the call when we have reached out to you for support year after year.
To our fellow CoachArt board members — so many of you have been part of this journey since our impact was much smaller, and been part of growing that impact through both your personal generosity and your wisdom.
And of course to the families we serve — you each made a decision to put your trust in CoachArt as your family dealt with a health situation that no family should have to deal with, and we take that incredibly seriously and strive to provide the best possible services we can to your family.
We can’t wait to join together with the entire CoachArt community to celebrate such an important milestone and welcome new families and volunteers from around the country to CoachArt.
We hope to see you there!
Sincerely,
Leah Bernthal and Zander Lurie
