Paleontology Club, Session 1

Excavate real fossils while we journey through time in CoachArt’s Paleontology Club! Participants will receive an excavation kit containing fossils to experience what it’s like to be a paleontologist out in the field while learning about the ancient titans that roamed the Earth. We will also create a geologic timeline and sketches to learn about dinosaurs during the Mesozoic Era and animals during the Ice Age. The club will also be joined by a real paleontologist from the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum in Los Angeles to discuss their work and answer questions. The club will conclude with a raffle of a knowledge-packed dinosaur book guide. So if you “dig” paleontology, this club is for you!
