Trust Drawing

  1. Sit with your student back to back.
  2. Describe a previously completed drawing or painting to the student, while they listen and try to draw it according to your description, without looking at the picture.
  3. Switch roles and have the student describe a different picture while you draw.
  4. Take note of both the student’s completed work and the terminology they use to describe the picture when you’re drawing. This will give you insight into student’s previous experience.
