CoachArt is currently hiring the following position:


Salary: $6k per month

Location: Remote

Status: Temporary (6-month), Full-time (40 hours); non-exempt

CoachArt is a nonprofit organization that provides free arts & athletics lessons to kids impacted by chronic illness. We’re holding a contest to hire our first “Creator-In-Residence” (CIR) to create engaging digital stories that advance our mission. Your role will involve doing things like… attending a CoachArt lesson (over Zoom) and making a YouTube short or Instagram reel about it!! The right candidate for this position will have the technical skills needed to unleash their creativity in a way that is authentic and aligned with the CoachArt mission and brand.

  • Please submit a 1 minute video showing why you would be the next great CoachArt Creator-In-Residence
  • Please include links to your own social channels
  • We will announce the semi-finalists and post your application video to our website for a 2 week voting period.
  • 4 finalists will be selected to watch a live CoachArt lesson via Zoom, then create a winning piece of content based on it! Video submissions will be open for voting on the website for 1 week.
  • On August 30, 2022 CoachArt will announce the winner of the Creator-In-Residence position and contact the winner by email. This role will be full time for 6 months starting early September.

Responsibilities of the CIR

  • Shoot and produce short and long form content for CoachArt
  • Post-production and editing (motion and still) of content to hand off to channel owners
  • Research relevant content topics aligned with CoachArt’s mission and conversion goals
  • Write copy on these topics as needed


  • Ability to produce video and blog content efficiently
  • Experience with post-production and editing (motion and still) of content
  • Comfortable (and enjoys!) being on camera as a CoachArt Creator-In-Residence
  • Knowledge of industry standards for social specs/optimum file sizes for web
  • Comfortable going scrappy to get things done on your own, as well as working with the team and taking direction on collaborative content
  • 18+, fully remote, must reside in the U.S.
  • You do not need a large audience on social media to qualify


  • Open to cross-promoting CoachArt content to your own social feeds a plus
  • Knowledge of WordPress a plus
  • Knowledge of and interest in social trends/content trends a plus
