Los Angeles Artists Provide Animation Lessons for Kids Impacted by Chronic Illness

Los Angeles CoachArt families had the opportunity to participate in a day of animation lessons for kids provided by some of Los Angeles’ top-notch motion graphic artists! CoachArt once again partnered with R&D, a group of professional motion graphic artists, who put together a full one-day immersion into the world of animation for CoachArt students!

The animation lessons for kids included projects like flipbooks, life drawings, DIY zoetropes, and stop-motion animation stories. With step-by-step instruction from R&D artists, CoachArt students created their own animation artwork!

Our favorite animation quote: “What I love most about animation is, it’s a team sport, and everything we do is about pure imagination.” – Jeffrey Katzenberg

Kids had a blast learning the animation process! Thank you, R&D Los Angeles artists for providing animation lessons for kids to CoachArt students!
