Eric Johnson and Jennifer Kuperman Johnson join CoachArt board

CoachArt is pleased to announce that Eric Johnson and Jennifer Kuperman Johnson have joined its Board of Directors effective immediately. The non-profit organization, which was founded in 2000, finds volunteers to improve the quality of life for children with chronic illness and their siblings by providing free lessons in the arts and athletics. “CoachArt is fortunate to have gained the expertise and passion that Jennifer and Eric bring to the organization,” said Executive Director Greg Harrell-Edge.

Eric JohnsonEric is an Executive Vice President at CBS and General Manager of the CNET Media Group within CBS Interactive.  Eric grew up in the Bay Area and graduated from Princeton University.

Jennifer is the Head of International Corporate Affairs for Alibaba Group.  In this role, she oversees all corporate communications and reputation activities for the company outside of China.  She received her M.A. in organizational psychology from Columbia University and a B.A. in psychology from Middlebury College.

“As a father, I want my children to have every opportunity to benefit from participation in art-making and athletic activities,” Eric said. “For families impacted by childhood chronic illness, those opportunities are often limited or out-of-reach, but I can change that with CoachArt.”

Eric and Jennifer live in San Francisco with their two daughters, Grace and Lucy.
