Bringing Smiles to San Diego Kids Impacted by Chronic Illness
CoachArt Family Day Brings Smiles to San Diego Kids and Families Impacted by Childhood Chronic Illness.
Saturday, June 29th, CoachArt hosted our first San Diego Family Day! CoachArt is a nonprofit organization offering free arts and athletics lessons for kids and teens impacted by chronic illness and their siblings. Since 2001, we have been serving families in the Los Angeles Area and San Francisco Bay Area, and this year, we have expanded our programs to serve families in the San Diego area.
San Diego Family Day was an opportunity for parents, guardians, and children to learn a fun new skill and to learn more about CoachArt and the types of services we offer for San Diego kids impacted by chronic illness, such as In Home Lessons, Group Clubs, and Workshops, which are designed to teach an artistic or athletic skill in a fun and supportive environment.
Kids at San Diego Family Day learned how to make a variety of balloon animals from a professional balloon instructor, and parents attended their own step-by-step painting workshop.

Family Day brought smiles and introduced San Diego families impacted by childhood chronic illness to CoachArt!
