Alli Goldstein, Founder and President of Cinch PR, Joins CoachArt Board
Alli Goldstein, founder and president of Cinch PR, has joined the board of directors of CoachArt, a non-profit organization that matches volunteer coaches with chronically ill children and their siblings for free arts and athletics lessons.
“Alli’s professional capacity for communicating big ideas, coupled with her experience as a parent and her commitment to supporting youth, will help CoachArt better serve our community,” said CoachArt Executive Director Greg Harrell-Edge.
Alli’s San Francisco-based agency, Cinch PR, specializes in consumer lifestyle brands. Since 2006, Cinch PR has carved out a ‘non-tech’ leadership position, focusing on top travel, destination, food & beverage, and retail brands. Alli is the driving force behind Cinch’s strategy and oversees its operations, while serving as a pragmatic advisor to Cinch’s portfolio of brands, including Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt Resorts, AutoCamp, Westfield, JaM Cellars, Squaw Valley, and Blue Bottle Coffee. She ensures Cinch delivers revenue-oriented PR programs at a superior level of service with results-driven, measurable outcomes.
“I was introduced to CoachArt several years ago by my good friend and fellow board member, Regan Scovic,” Alli said. “She knew I would be interested in CoachArts’ mission, as it’s focused on areas of my life that I deem most important – children, health, athletics, and the arts. Over the years I attended several CoachArt fundraisers, connected with other board members, and even managed to include CoachArt as the non-profit beneficiary at some of Cinch PR’s client events.”
“I’m thrilled to take my involvement in CoachArt to the next level by joining the board, and hope that my background in strategic communications can play a role in helping even more families and children,” Alli said.
Alli met her husband in New York City. The couple and their two children live in the Richmond district of San Francisco. Though they live an urban lifestyle, they pursue outdoor activities as often as possible, including biking and hiking. They also enjoy cooking as a family.
Alli is a certified Wish Grantor for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a trained clinic escort for Planned Parenthood, and mentor for the Northwestern Alumni Association, and served on the board of directors for Cal Shakes, co-chairing its Youth Advisory efforts.
CoachArt creates a transformative arts and athletics community for families impacted by childhood chronic illness. CoachArt was founded in 2001 by Zander Lurie and Leah Bernthal in memory of Zander’s father, Dr. Arthur Lurie, a cardiac surgeon who recognized the need for long-term support and enrichment among the pediatric patient population. Today, this non-profit organization provides high-quality, no-cost lessons and activities in arts and athletics to children in Los Angeles, San Diego, and the San Francisco Bay Area with the support of volunteers, community partners, and generous donors.
